History and Context:
RG Missionary Church of Evangelical Baptists was founded in 1994, and it serves the residents of the Stary Bilous village. The church’s vision is to bring the Gospel to people by addressing humanitarian needs, and to serve children through camps and Sunday school. The church basement serves as a bomb shelter when necessary. Since the war began in February 2022, the church has seen over 30 people profess faith in Christ, and 10 people have been baptized.
Primary Ministries:
The Missionary Church ministers to the elderly, low-income families, and others in need of food packages and other basic essentials. They also run kids camps and youth clubs to give kids fun things to do, and an opportunity to learn the Gospel and meet Jesus Christ.
Current Needs:
- Purchase of food, medicine, and other basic essentials for the distribution of packages to those in need
- Purchase of resources necessary to provide camps and youth clubs
- Facility upgrades to the basement which is used as a bomb shelter
