Description

The Church of the Plateau in Gatineau just changed its senior pastor and plans to continue to renew itself following the scriptural mandate to make disciples of the nations and to seek, above all, the glory of God. The assembly is convinced of the centrality of the Bible, the Word of God (preached by exposition) and of the need to form disciples. We aim for an international, intergenerational Church that shines in the community. We want to place emphasis on discipleship, family, youth and evangelism.

The Church is therefore looking for a full-time assistant pastor (40 hours/week)

He would be responsible of (around 80% of the time):
· General coordination of the family ministry and the care of youth and young adults.
. Mission and evangelization

He would help with preaching occasionally and he will be a support for the ministry from visiting members and newcomers.

All this would represent approximately 80% of the task.

In order to help structure and consolidate the church, the remaining 20% would be devoted to coordinating the ministries of deacons, deaconesses and volunteers.
