Türkiye Summit Update

This past June, Fellowship International held its Summit in Türkiye that brought together missionaries from all corners of the globe! The Summit was a great success, fostering unity, learning, and vision among Fellowship International missionaries and their field workers.

Hosted on the outskirts of Istanbul, some of Fellowship International’s disciple-making missionaries and their national field workers came together united by one goal: to catalyze movements so that God’s Kingdom on earth will multiply throughout the nations! Attendees hailed from five continents and almost nine different countries, each bringing their unique insight and gifting. Through interactive workshops and insightful teaching, missionaries explored the diverse methods and challenges of implementing the 10 Essential Elements to catalyze movements in their contexts.

One of the most invaluable aspects of the Summit was the opportunity for missionaries and their field workers to share their testimonies. Their stories showcased the powerful love of Christ and God’s heart for the lost. In spite of the persecution and countless obstacles that they are facing in their countries, they are pressing on towards their goal to see the unreached discipled in Jesus’ name.

As the conference drew to a close, a sense of renewal permeated the air. Missionaries left with hearts filled with renewed vision, ready to tackle their God-sized visions with a fanned-into-flame conviction. Connections made during the conference are being sustained through our newly launched online platform, Engage Spaces, which allows missionaries to encourage and sharpen one another from opposite sides of the globe.

In addition to our online community, we soft-launched our Catalyzing Movements manual, which has been a long work-in-progress spearheaded by Richard Flemming. This was the backbone to the training sessions led by Catalyst and Candidate Co-ordinator Byron Chae. Missionaries were equipped to implement and teach the 10 Essential Elements on the ground back home. We can’t wait to make this resource available to all our churches and missionaries this Fall.

Thank you to all Fellowship churches and supporters who prayed for this fellowship. It was a memorable time and a welcome reminder of the importance of in-person gatherings after a number of Zoom Summits during the pandemic. As our missionaries have returned to their respective homes, please pray for God’s Spirit of love and joy to fill them and overflow to those around them. We are already looking forward to the next time!
