Journey with a Child

Did you know that the Fellowship’s Child Sponsorship ministries are overseen by Fellowship International missionaries?

In the Dominican Republic, Helene Hwang serves marginalized Haitian children and at-risk Dominican children through the Joy Foundation.

In Honduras, Melodie Francis and snowbird couple Rick and Ena Ward serve at Casa Hogar, a safe haven where vulnerable children and youth are welcomed to live.

In Lebanon, Clementia Life Centre, overseen by Roula Karkafi, provides education, life-skills training, and nutritious meals to primarily refugee students.

Also in Lebanon, Cedar Home is led by Karim and Rita Anayssi. Cedar Home is a loving Christian home environment open to abandoned newborns, orphans, and disadvantaged girls from Syrian, Palestinian, and Iraqi backgrounds, as well as stateless Lebanese girls.

Through three centres in Sri Lanka, Love Trust, led by Ronald Jeyaseelan, runs pre-school and after-school programs for children living in extreme poverty.

The Fellowship’s Child Sponsorship program is committed to the development of the whole person; this includes their education (access to quality learning and supplies), physical (medical care, healthy meals, daily activity), emotional (nurturing environments built on love), and spiritual (opportunity to know Jesus Christ) needs.

In September, FAIR launched the Journey with A Child special appeal. Part of the goal is to see 400 new sponsors participating in order to meet the needs of some of the most vulnerable children and youth in the world. Through your sponsorship, not only one child, but the child’s family and community are all empowered in Jesus’ name. You can make a long-lasting, holistic impact in the life of a child, providing love for today, and hope for tomorrow. Would you consider sponsoring a child today?

Please join us in uplifting each of these missionaries, children, and the children’s families in prayer. If you or your church would like to find out more about FAIR’s Journey with a Child special appeal, please click here.
