Elisabeth
Significant dates:
- Appointed to serve with Fellowship International in October 2024.
Elisabeth was born into a Christian family and was blessed with a strong foundation of faith.
When she was nine years old, she accepted Christ as her Saviour and found in Him the treasure she had been seeking. At the age of 16, while reading Acts 20:24, she felt God calling her to serve Him, whatever the cost. Since that time, she has used her own personal experiences to come alongside “spiritual little sisters” to show them that the Gospel can meet their deepest desires.
Elisabeth writes, “I believe God has called me to equip young French-speaking women in Québec to grow as committed disciples of Jesus and trained leaders. My mission is to spark a multiplication of disciples throughout Québec, beyond one ministry or individual church.”
Québec is truly a mission field with less than 1% of the population attending an evangelical church. While there are remnants of a Christian cultural framework, there is an urgent need for solid disciples ready to multiply. Women often outnumber men in churches, yet few are able to serve fully in their gifts. Resources in French tailored to their needs are rare, and many women turn to translated resources that dilute or simplify the Gospel message, leaving them without a solid, relevant theological foundation.
She writes, “Working with initiatives from AEBEQ (Fellowship Québec) and other organizations, like SOLA Femmes Scriptura (TGC Québec), to produce relevant, Gospel-centred resources and leadership development pathways, my goal is to raise up local leaders who can support women within their own church communities. Through Fellowship International, I have access to the support needed to build a sustainable movement that will have a lasting impact.
“I envision a generation of francophone women in Quebec becoming disciples who make disciples and leaders who impact the wider French-speaking world.”
