Clementia Life Centre (CLC) is a non-residential program serving refugee students and their families in Lebanon. The desire is to empower disadvantaged families through relief, training, development, and protection. CLC provides education, training in life-skills, professional psychosocial support, nutritious meals, relief and aid to the families, and spiritual support by exposing children to the love and truth of Jesus.
Partnerships with church communities are a vital part of helping care for these children so that they can grow up to become thriving adults. Imagine how encouraging it would be for these children and youth to know that church communities are regularly praying for them, spending quality time together, and supporting them as they grow up. This is the beauty of Jesus’ global church!

FAQ
1. What does a vision trip involve?
A vision trip is often a week-long trip with Fellowship International missionaries working with the CLC program in Lebanon. The main priority of vision trips is to increase the familiarity of participants with the ministry, staff, and children. CLC organizes two vision trips a year. Teams include church leaders from multiple churches across Canada.
2. What does a mission trip involve?
A mission trip lasts two months and is intended to serve a specific need within the ministry, alongside the staff. The participant typically serves in a teaching role, either to the children, families, or by providing some professional development to the staff.
3. What if my church is small and can only send one or two people on a trip to Cedar Home?
The staff at CLC would coordinate a time for your church to join other churches.
